Sonalee Parekh is Asana's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of Finance, responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, and financial planning. Prior to Asana, Sonalee was CFO of RingCentral, a cloud-based communications SaaS company, where she oversaw all finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, capital markets, investor relations, treasury and tax. Previously, Sonalee was CFO of HPE’s Communication Technology Group, and SVP of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. Her responsibilities there included overseeing growth initiatives, strategic investments, global M&A and integration, and investor relations. Sonalee has also held senior leadership roles at several global investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, and Barclays Capital. She currently serves as a director and audit chair for Indie Semiconductor, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, and is a Chartered Accountant.
